Hi,
I wanted to sort of open a topic as to what will happen with Orbiter as in destinations beyond the solar system?
I know it might be a bit of a maths and science problem for this path beyond the last planet.
I recall in the past, having used some actual star systems, and even a probe, Daedalus, I think now.
Could that not get to the Moon much quicker than three days? Even if sort of science fiction, not because it is, but since it hasn't been tested in reality.
Or like Orion, the probe is the only real idea of travelling somewhere.
I know Alpha centuari is very very long away, even with a probe like Daedalus travelling at ten percent the speed of light, or even Orion.
What are the thoughts?
