and you have some code in it that takes x and y,

how would you write an ini file so they don't have to type inside the program itself?

You mean being able to read from an ini file? Download one of my latest add-ons at orbithangar. Most of them read from an ini file, so they come with a very easy to use class that enables you to read from an ini.
