OHM XR2 UCGO Cargo Platform v2.2

I have the 2006 versions of these available so if woo482 approves I can make them available for you. They don't have all the functions of the 2010 version but they work.
 
Go ahead :cheers: , just remember that it won't be supported by me and I won't be able to fix any bugs for that version, though I don't think there are any :lol:
 
Can't load cargo in the XR2

Hello!

I have a little problem, my XR2 doesn't seems to "see" any of the cargos. I can't load any of these beauties!!!

Only the "default" Ravenstar cargos are visible...

Can anyone help me?

Are you trying to load the UCGO cargoes into the platform from the XR2's panel? because if you are, you can't :P The only way to load UCGO boxes into the thing at the moment is to switch over to the platform vessel and then select the cargo you want to add with the keys displayed on the HUD
 
I seem to have a little bit of a problem as well.

Whenever I start a scenario with the XR-2, the UCGO platform is not there, although it is present in the scenario editor list of objects that can be inserted.

Am I missing something here? I read the documentation, but it says nothing about needing to manually insert/attach the UCGO platform.

The platform itself needs to be "grappled" by the XR2 into the payload bay, into the middle slot. Then, the platform will grapple the UCGO boxes and hold them.

I have a problem with this addon. So far I can not see anything on the hud when Im in the cargo ship. I can add modules. But can not see what I select.
I have both Vangard and Ravenstar. And both have the same problem.
I use d3d9. Don't know if that is the problem
 
Try enabling the "GDI compatibility" option in the Video settings menu, having that disabled is the only thing I can think of that will stop the text displaying.

Thanks, it worked. Though I loose AA and ~200 fps :D usually 300~500 fps. Now running 80~150 fps
 
I'll have to look into updating the addon to use the new methods for HUD rendering then, that's a pretty big FPS loss :huh:

Been flying a little around with it. It seems that when I'm in inside view I got the drop to 80 fps. Though when viewing from outside I tend to get the same as before 300~500 fps
Maybe it has to do with the hud system?
Anyway thanks for the addons. I finally learned to dock with ISS 2 days ago. And now I have a reason to do ISS missions :D
 
I'm late to the party, but I'm trying to use this, but the hud text does not stay on the screen long enough to see what I'm selecting when I hit 9, it just flashes as I hit 9, and the way to find out what I have selected is to add it with shf 9 and see what it is. Also I don't even see a flash when I hit 8. Everything seems to work, grapple, release etc.. but I can't use it if I don't know what I've selected.

The hud works fine for other UCGO vessels, so I don't know what's going on with this one.

Using Windows XP, Orbiter 2010p1 with stock graphic engine. v2.2 of XR2 UCGO Platform
 
I'm pretty busy with other projects currently, but I'll definitely consider trying to add something like that when I get around to updating UCGO platforms :cheers:
