I work for a furniture manufacturing company in the Midwest US. We are one segment of a larger global company that manufactures office furniture & electronics. I am the desktop support technician for the headquarters of the hospitality division (which manufactures furniture for hotels, casinos, etc.). I also update/maintain the company's intranet website and am preparing shortly to take on some server admin responsibilities with our file share and web server. I have worked for other segments of the company supporting desktop infrastructure, applications, and RF data collection infrastructure. I have an A.A.S. in Computer Programming.

Before I joined my current company, I worked at McDonald's for seven years :p where I met my lovely wife who convinced me to go back to school and get my degree (she is now a nurse).

Electrical engineer designing televisions for twenty-some years. Laid off early this century, opened my own hydroponics store. Botany used to be the hobby while circuits and software paid the bills, now it's reversed!

What do you do for a living?

My job is so secret that I do not even know what I do for a living.

But I have some leads... I work at an office. I work with contracts, checking that they are ok, and I work on workflows and improvements to handle those. Hmmm, it looks like I work in process design for a service company again... I have done that in the past. How curious.

In my spare time I play Orbiter for a living. When Space Orbinomics II is ready, I will be making big bucks in the Orbiter universe...

College student, currently working two summer jobs, one at the cafeteria for a local ministry, one delivering pizza.

My parents are the ones that make my living, though.
