OK, did the 50 Euro shopping run for four new DCS Modules via Paypal, seems to have worked. Now nothing can ruin my summer holidays, rain or shine

Wow, all that stuff seems to be quite cheap right now. Might be a nice chance to see how it performs on my system. Looks like I have the recomended specs (or minimum, for the CPU).

Looking a my previous experience with Lock On, I think I'll stay on ground with Combined Arms :P, at least if I want to play multiplayer.

No problem, it runs VERY well on my notebook. Maybe we can do a Multiplayer session one day, I can't wait to have my A-10 back and under control, that is my kind.

708 pages flight manual for the A-10C ... damn, where the hell did I just end here.

How about this? Bowties are cool. Scarves are cool. Also, celery is cool.

This is gonna be really random. First things I thought of when reading this, (in order)

Bowties - PeeWee Herman

Scarves - Damn, it's too hot in Florida for those.

Celery - COVERED IN PEANUT BUTTER!

Bowties: these can look pretty classy--on a very few specific kinds of men. On the wrong guy, they look ridiculous.

Scarves - My mom wears one when it's cold, and a former female friend of mine used to look fantastic with one:)

Celery, even with peanut butter - I'll pass;) Not a veggie fan here.

But, for more randomness:
A) A charcoal grill is the only place were even weeks-old ash smells good:)

B) Military basic training is the only institution on planet Earth wherein a person can spend six weeks screaming and spitting in your face, humiliating you in front of your peers, and in some cases physically assaulting you, and then, with absolutely no fear, hand you a loaded gun.

I must say, DCS: UH-1H Huey looks rather enticing...

Looks like summer alright.

I think I remember hearing about LOFC2 <-> DCS crossplay capabilities. Would be fun to make a coop, with me in the F15...

You need the LOFC3 Module for DCS:World to do that (recommended for the visual improvements anyway)

This Steam Trading Card thing is quite intriguing.
Valve is genius when it comes to making money from nothing. (Hats!)
I automatically got three cards for Don't Starve (wouldn't you know it, 3 of the same card). I can just sell these things off. And maybe buy some more when the market price is low. :P (and it is on a decline)
I don't think I could acquire 'foil' cards though. You have to be a gaming maniac to get one.

Another game I really would like to try :)

Totally worth it!
Like Minecraft on Hardcore mode though. :P
I'm sure you can circumvent the perma-death, but of course it changes your gameplay knowing that if you die, your current world is lost. I think I'm around day 33 on my longest play so far. (I haven't been playing much until lately)
I've also been watching a playthrough on YouTube that's at like day 180. The game gets increasingly difficult as the days/seasons pass, plus there's Adventure Mode which is the ultimate challenge. Not to mention caves! Don't Starve has ridiculously stable releases despite the near-weekly updates.

There should be a law that whoever makes the sites for Russian government services would have their names, home addresses and list of works published in an easily readable place.

At best, people who go homicidal :compbash: from the need to work with these sites would know who's butt to kick. :chainsaw:
At best the programmers would actually think whether their hands are growing from the right place before taking the job.

Why not have a central "Russian Federal Government" portal with a central CMS... and have Putin programming the PHP modifications to it.

That randomly reminds me that someone showed me somewhere on my university's website that you can just search people and get their home address, full name, and class. Though the class seems to be generally wrong (senior vs freshman, etc) and the address seems like it was intended to be campus addresses (still weird) but happens to show home addresses instead...

You can find information on just about anyone on the web, but this takes out a lot of the work. :p

Years of using the internet, still no search result for my name in Google.

I consider it a success.
Oh no wait, that means I've never achieved anything.

If you're into crafting game badges, then you'll need to buy 4 times the full set (20 cards if there are 5 in the set for Don't Starve?) + cards you're missing to make a full set for the level 1 badge (4 cards if you sell only 2 duplicates of the 3 cards you have), if you want the maximum level badge for the game. You lose the full set of cards when you craft a badge. (And other games have 8 cards in set.) :P

I don't think it's worth spending money on them. If you sell them to buy more, you'll need to wait at least for their price drop by 10% to not lose.

I don't think I could acquire 'foil' cards though. You have to be a gaming maniac to get one.
You need to be at least "Steam level 10" to get any chance for dropping them from games which still have free card drops left (of course you won't get them for Don't Starve from the game, because you used your limit, but only from the market or from trading).

I guess that are some in-game hats, adding no stats but only visuals?
