It seems there's another attempt to launch today at 1856 GMT.

hmm they better find out why if its an engine fault they need to sort it before the next manned mission to the ISS quality control has been a bit lacking for a few years

The FG version used for manned launches always gets increased quality control and resources due to its high PR-value. Unmanned launches do not get this as they don't have the same PR-value.

Well, that's probably an avoided failure.

Hmmm, never thought of that...fascinating...
Aren't they using the same 'rotatable' launch-pad as with Soyuz?

I think the pad(s) can still rotate, but with the new guidance systems and computers in the new Soyuz versions they don't need to aim the vehicle with the pad.
