After a few days away from this, I decided to work on the RBUS platform/porch making it more accurate and in style of the rest of the new FSS. The porch section is complete less the top beams. I still have to do the platform bottom and top beams and handrails. All in all, so far I have spent around 8 hours researching and modelling what you see in the below screenshots.

Almost done with the RBS platform handrails. The only section remaining is the interior side that faces the FSS 115' level. Then it's on to adding the various brackets and flanges of the bottom beams.

After 6 days of work, the RBUS platform/porch have reached 100% structural completion! Only things left are the kickplates and the actual grating.

Done some work on the OAA. It's more or less ready for action now. It's only the detail work that is left to do. In the screenshot it is in its correct extended position, some 15.5°s away from the vertical axis.

What do you mean? Do you mean if it is open instead of the solid block we have now? If so, then yes, it is fully open.

Should be pretty accurate. I can't test it in GMAX as doesn't do close-ups that good due to clipping. The screenshots currently show both the east door that faces the orbiter and the north door that folds inward to clear the side hatch being open in the event of a Mode IV Emergency Egress in their closed positions (nominal). But they to have the provisions to be animated in the future.

All levels of the FSS are now structurally complete with the addition of the 300' level. The 300' level just needs the handrails added but it is complete.

Here's the latest work. It may not look like much but believe that alot of work went into this tiny step towards completion. It seems the stairs that connect the 275 level with the 300 level has changed from the Saturn days (either that or the design changed from the date the drawings I used (Feb 24 1964, original Saturn V LUT).
