Any reason the work in progress yet working DirectX9 client isn't listed?
Because graphics clients are only for Orbiter 2010 and later, and Orbiter 2006 had only built-in graphics?

This thread is about 2010 addons. So again the question remains why isn't D3D9 listed?
Because as I said D3D9 Client was designed for Orbiter 2010 and there were no versions for earlier Orbiters, and this thread was created for compatibility of add-ons from earlier versions of Orbiter.

I didn't OrbiterSound 3.5 listed - it does work in Orbiter 2010.
That's because it's said on the download page for Orbiter Sound 3.5:
OrbiterSound 3.5 (For ORBITER 2006 or 2010 !)

Complete and fully integrated sound environnment, include thrust sound, gpws, launch countdown, docking, aircond, wind, atc, ambience sound and few more others. Included Mp3 player, MFD to tune radio atc frequency and the SoundSDK for vessel and MFD creator to add custom sound to their addons. (note: ATC is disabled by default use config program to set it on)

Really simple to use: just click "OrbiterSound35.exe", give orbiter's path and you have sound in Orbiter 2006 or 2010.

Although I am watching with great interest the development of the DirectX9 client, are you sure it's ready for general release yet? I was under the impression there was a ways to go before the advantages of running the client outweighed the existing bugs.

And I for one consider it a real problem that the DirectX9 client does not play nice at all with many other addons and vessels that themselves work quite well with Orbiter 2010P1.

I'm afraid that is a bit of a showstopper for me.

Also, isn't this the sort of thing that should have been discussed in PMs to the admins here? We are rather cluttering up an informative thread with chatter otherwise.

Space Station Building Blocks 4.0, 4.1 and XR5 payload version works... sort of.

Yesterday I had random CTDs after SCRAM ascent, today was fine.

Managed to get a central truss/docking port section and the habitation module out of the payload bay.

But when ejecting the solar arrays, they spin off uncontrollably. What gives?

To amani: Unzip into the Orbiter 2010 main folder... The directory structure in most add-ons (at least not sloppy ones) matches the structure of Orbiter's folders.

Orulex v1.2 with pre-generated planet and local terrain (L13 Grand Canyon, etc) works like a dream. Highly recommended.

Note: Later versions known to be unstable or may not work in 2010P1.

HI-RES LC39 for Orbiter 100830

I searched for a HI-RES LC39 for Orbiter 100830, I see the old one is for 06 only. Has anyone tryed it with 100830? The default launch pad sure is ugly.

I saw two post about the Wideawake Landing Scenarios being off. Are there new coordinates or a fix for them.....

B-52 with X-15, Version 2

B-52 with X-15, Version 2 works in Orbiter 2010P1

The scenarios need to be given their own folder.
The modeling of the B-52 is good and acceptable, but not fully featured or aero-accurate in flight performance (It can dance in the air like a P-51 Mustang if you make it).

The X-15 is pretty darn realistic, however AFAIK.

I did not see it in the list at the top of this thread.

The add on is found here: [ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=1329"]B-52 with X-15 ver2[/ame]

F-35B Lightning VTOL in Orbiter2010P1

Just getting started with playing around with it.
Seems realistically modeled, and functions and controls work as described.
More info to come.

It is found here: [ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=5105"]F-35B Lightning VTOL[/ame]

I noticed that Project Mercury is not on the list but it works for me as long as you install the 061203 patch.

Last time I tried Project Gemini with O2010 there were some problems with EVA and abort ejection and (I think) some reentry stuff.
