Hello Everyone,

This is driving me nuts..
I have installed Orbiter 2010 P1 which was no problem.
Then I installed Orbiter Sound 4.0.....problem.
Somehow the sound module is not present in the Orbiter Launchpad.
Could not even find a solution in the Orbiter forum or
an Youtube tutorial....Aaaarrggg.

(Ok Fonz, relax)

Is there a solution for it? Or did I missed something?

This place called "home".
I would try to install it again. If it still doesn't work, check if OrbiterSound.dll really is located in the Modules/Plugin folder.

What is your Windows version?
Could it be that it must be installed "as administrator"?
Where is your Orbiter folder located?

Asbjos: The OrbiterSound.dll is indeed in the modules/Plugin folder.
And tomorrow, I will install it again, thanks

Ripley: I have windows 8.1
My Orbiter folder is located under "Documents"

That may be the problem. If you expand 'Documents' and it's in fact under 'My Documents' the installer may not be able to write to the cfg files since it's in the 'user space.'

I'd personally recommend moving it to the root of the C: drive.

Wow, this might do the trick, somewhere in the back of my mind I was wondering about this solution as well.
So the best action here is: uninstall Orbiter 2010 P1 + OrbiterSound 4.0
And re-install both again directly into root of the C: drive
Muchas gracias....:tiphat:
Ok I see into it 2 morrow, it's dream-time for me now in the Netherlands
