By Tamerlane's order, each of his warriors, when going into the field, had to leave a stone beside the road. And the mound grew.
There was fire, and there was victory. And they would come back and pick up their stones. But some stones have been left lying.
Tamerlane rode last. And he would pick up the heavy boulders and speak to them, recalling their names.
