Is there an inside joke with the "Tuesday" thing? Has Orbiter had a habit of being released on Tuesdays?
http://orbitervis.wiki.sourceforge.net/OrbiterPublicBeta + thread http://www.orbiter-forum.com/showthread.php?t=1876Where is one able to download the betas?
Hail the Probe and Probe shall giveth thee thine knowledge. :lol:Is there an inside joke with the "Tuesday" thing? Has Orbiter had a habit of being released on Tuesdays?
In All seriousness
This has already become the greatest/longest timespan between official releases in the history of Orbiter's existance.
Given this great length of time, are we all to assume that when the new version is officially launched, that is it going to be pretty damn spectacular in 'every' way (not just eyecandy), when compared to the current version?
Or is this extended development time actually due to the ever increasing complexities in the splitting of the graphics & physics engines, & the implimentation of maintaining quality control for the various graphics engines in the future.
Just curious
By that line of reasoning, the release date should be 12/25/2012 (a Tuesday). I mainly would like it because the inclusion of Lua scripting will lower the entry barrier for addon creation (meaning I'll be able to make cool stuff!).Nope, wasn't Tuesday this year.

Oh my gosh! We've discovered Dr. Schweiger's secret plan to never release the next version! Set the release date to be after the end of the world!:blink:Can't be. That's 4 days after the apocalyse.
