In my point of view this is just an advertising gimmick. Because you don't have to be a geologist but just an Apollo fan to realize within seconds, with your naked eye and without any analyses, that the piece for sure is anything but a moon rock. Experts say so for many years already as well. So the museum people should have known. And I think they knew. They keep the piece as a curiosity from the beginning already...
