Unfortunately, at the moment the created mesh has hands outstretched, which is not very helpful in crawling through docks...

Unfortunately, at the moment the created mesh has hands outstretched, which is not very helpful in crawling through docks...

You have in tool bar option for posing,and in 2nd tool select posing too.
With mouse select part of body you want to change position and you have tool for rotating in 3 axes.
Don't forget to save,it's save in your document posed model.
