IIRC, the issue isn't Kev's
pads, it's the transparency along the coast in the way the KSC tiles are implemented in his cfg file.
When I upload the new LC 14/19 pads, I'll be uploading a new set of Sol cfg files that corrects this issue. I forget exactly how I blended the surface tiles, but mine runs thus:
Be aware however that the positioning of the upgraded pads is dependant on your using Kukanotas' Hi-Res KSC tileset. Though since the pads are configured as a spacecraft, you
can move them with the scenario editor, but this means you will need to edit the "system" line in the scenario file as well as configuring the corresponding Sol system of your choice to run the new pads.
