Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Happy Chanuakah? Oh wait, it is over.
One day and about 11 hours until it is 2009 for me.
Other than that, I do not know what to say about this thread.

Happy New Year, my fellow Orbinauts! Let the 2009 be the year of development - both in the Orbiter and in the real world. This is what this old postcard is intended to symbolize:

:)

Only 1 hour left of 2009 here now.

So HAPPY 2009 EVERYBODY, 2009 should be great for spaceflight and Orbiter.

We've got 5 shuttle flights planned + Ares 1-X.
Also, it's the 40th aniversary of Apollo 11.

For Orbiter, I myself am aiming to get ISSU released in 2009:)

Not forgetting, Barack Obama becomes President.

So good luck for 2009 everybody!

-Pete

Happy New Year everyone. It's almost two hours into 2009 here and all systems are working at nominal parameters:cheers:. Let's hope 2009 will be a better year from all points of view.

It has been 2009 for more than 9.5 hours here, and it isn't much different to last year

/me predicts a number of financial situations for 2009, all contradictory, simply so next year, he has the right to say "Ha. I told you that it was going to happen!".

Happy New Year, everyone!

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE IN THE GMT TIME ZONE!

The fireworks in London were awesome:)

One of greatest spaceflight years has ended, and many great Orbiter addons were released, Happy New Year!

Happy New Year :) I hope every one here has a good 2009 :)

Happy new year 2009! It has been 2009 for about 3.5 hours now over here. Been raining so we didn't see any firoworks, when they did go off I was asleep . But however, the fireworks in London seemed fantastic, even on television. Must have been spectacular actually being there.

P.S. If my post was illegible, that's because of sleep deprevation.:boredom:

:cheers:Happy New Year to all whom it's already arrived to and those that it soon will! I'll be out enjoying the fireworks that never fail to be a great show in my area! And the countdown is on to reach new heights with my simple soda bottle rocket. Nothing home chemistry can't do! Last of my vinegar though:(.

HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone!!!! And as the old saying goes, out with the old, in with the new! Also, it's approximately 4 hours till New Years day here in Canada (in the west coast).:)

Good time for JibJab's annual Year in Review:

Bet you all a nickel that this year will be just as bad as the last.

The fireworks were just as great as last year in Rockdale! Plenty of booms (Startled me once or twice!) sounding like mortars, Complete with the sound of real big guns going off too. Guess the rockets didn't make it to orbit because they were shot down hehe! :hunter:

I missed the whole thing because I was watching the Twilight Zone marathon on Sci Fi channel, while flying Orbiter.

I guess there's no danger of my geek card getting revoked.
