Discount spaceflight, anyone? :)
Launch with N-1 derived N-111 100% reliable launcher :)lol:), 2 hours of orbiting, and splashdown north of Wideawake International.

Whole flight here (photobucket)
Total of 23 somewhat good images with captions. If you ever visit that gallery, I recommend the slideshow mode. It's awesome!

Thanks! It's a rather simple velcro contraption :)
Release? Doubtful, since a single scenario is hardly worth uploading to OHM. But I can tell you what addons were used.
UMMU, UCGO for the car, [ame="http://orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=3732"]UMMU reentry pack[/ame], [ame="http://orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=3388"]Velcro Rockets[/ame], [ame="http://orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=3463"]Velcro N1[/ame](used the N-111 scenario as a workbase) and Wideawake International.
If anyone wants the scenario, send me a PM and I'll send you a link

Burning the engine (don't know what for)

That was a "secondary objective" of the flight, just to test if the retros were working or not, and how they altered the spacecraft trajectory. The flight would have been safe and successful even if they didn't worked.

Yeah, I'm lame enough to post a MFD picture, but it was my first perfect lunar transfer! I was pretty happy!

That looks like it's a bit too big to be launched by the Orbiter...

Is it just me, or would it be odd to see a low-resolution Buran dock next to your shuttle in real life?
