You can adjust the Smooth Shading "limit angle". By default it is 30° I think (meaning Smooth Shading will only work if the angle between faces is less than that).
Very good. I will experiment with the limit angle and strive for improvement. In fact, there are multiple loop cuts in the model as it stands. Still working on learning how to properly bevel things - so far I can get things beveled in either the Y axis or the Z axis but not both.

Thanks for your help.

Bevel will apply only to the selection, so you have to try around and find which edges will allow the effect you want.

The usual strategy is to set all your faces to smooth then either 1) Select edges and use "mark sharp" or 2) add an edge split modifier.

? My spacecraft rotates and does weird things when I use timewarp.
Is the attitude mode set to "free" while using time acceleration? 10x should be okay on older computers. What framerates are you getting?

1 do you use joystick ? dead zones set ?
2 don't try to manoeuvre while in time warp of course, save that for real time. always.
that's few things off the top of my head. may be something else tho ?

1. Yes, and I use it with antimicro so when I don't need joystick movements it's off.
2. I know... it's obvious xD

But it's a matter of the orbiter physics during timewarps and the NASSP, I don't think there is a fix for that.

There are many users of NASSP, so the chances you're the only one experiencing this are... slim.

I see thrusters firing. What attitude mode are you in?

ok. yeah, it's pretty obvious :)
can you tell us then what specific joystick do you use ?
I have pretty basic Logitech Extreme 3D Pro and didn't had any problems

ok here's few more. this is screenshots thread after all... :giggle:
