Personal Watercraft Performance Program

The AESD Personal Watercraft Performance (PWCP) program is an experimental program designed to study the uses and behavior of small marine craft. The AESD owns four PWC Sea-Doo vehicles, some reaching a predicted speed of over 60 miles per hour. Each mission will test a specific aspect of the individual vehicle, putting it through it's paces to understand the operations and actions necessary to achieve the best from the vehicle. Staff at the AESD will review the mission data, using it to learn from each experience, and to improve marine transportation.
