I will definitely try the cool shower idea. My wife put a black sheet over our window to make it more night-like when I get home, and that's helped a bit.I have a relative that often works 2300-0700. The best strategy is to get lots of light while you're on shift and make sure the room you are sleeping in is dark (ie, very dark. You want to simulate midnight). I've also read that cooling your body down before sleeping can help (simulates the cool of evening), so maybe try a cool shower?
