Anything from this Soundtrack sounds good, especially in LEO in a XR2
Hans Zimmer did CoD music?
That's news to me.

Still, if there's any FPS music applicable to Orbiter, I'd have to say the Halo soundtrack is at least somewhat more fitting:

Flying an air liner to the moon
The music from this video (I already ripped it into my soundtrack)

Just out of curiosity, does anyone recognize this piece? I couldn't understand the lyrics, and a search through related YouTube videos proved fruitless.

Some time ago, I've purchased the pc version of OSMOS, a beautiful relaxing game, which won the independent game festival, last year (I think).
It has something to do with orbital elements, matter, antimatter...

It has some cool music too!

oh well, I play "Virgo" while approaching Jupiter, and "Replay" while landing XR2 is the WIN! and "Quartz" should be the Orbiter official BGM for LEO

:hail::probe:
Well, my suggestions were just offhand. I have most of the soundtrack hanging around in my playlist.

Quartz is a good one. Very Metroidy.

I also like to listen to basically any music from space movies. I listen to The Right Stuff Theme, even though it makes me sad that there is no Mercury add-on that works in 2010. :(

Darren

PS: Too whoever said Fire in the Sky, thanks for the best space song ever!

These ones?

I love playing these in the vicinity of the gas giants. When I first added this one to my playlist, I flew a mission to Uranus. Creepy as anything (Only 2 or 3M altitude, so half my sky was featureless blue-gray, and the other half was cut by dull gray rings,) but really cool. I shivered a bit.

YouTube - Jupiter sounds (so strange!) NASA-Voyager recording

Yeah, I usually point the DGIV's Radio dish at the gas giants and listen to them.

I still really want dansteph to make a addon for DGIV so the Dish actually does pick up signals lol

Also with bigger close future ships like Discovery or similar crafts I listen to the Red Planet Score minus the Peter Gabriel & Sting and the Police songs (Just breaks the mood lol)
