I'm running in to an issue with the particle streams which are defined in the config of the multistage 2015 rocket. Even when I define the particle stream as diffuse, it shows Emissive in sim.

[PARTICLESTREAM_12]
Name=SRB_exhaust_2
Srcsize=5.000
Srcrate=50.000
V0=300.000
Srcspread=0.000
Lifetime=0.500
Growthrate=35.000
Atmslowdown=0.300
Ltype=DIFFUSE
Levelmap=LVL_PSQRT
Lmin=0
Lmax=1.000
Atmsmap=ATM_PLOG
Amin=1e-006
Amax=1.000
Tex=SLS_2016/SLS_SRB_exhaust_black
GrowFactor_size=1.400
GrowFactor_rate=4.000

Maybe it's the new d3d9 client or something in the multistage2015 module which should be updated to be compatible I'm not sure. Older build of d3d9 does show the particle stream as diffuse I have noticed. Does anybody know what might be the issue?

Progress on the 1st stage is going well, rocket is almost done. I redid the engines also and added lots of details to it.

I also started on upgrading the textures of the ICPS and Orion capsule of @francisdrake to match the latest pictures. I hope he's ok with this.
Which got me into a whole other path :D..

I wanted to the Artemis missions to be a little more immersive and playable from the cockpit of Orion, so for some reason I started the daunting project to model the interior of the Orion capsule.

The panel is coming along pretty wel I think, maybe @francisdrake can help me wire it up a bit ;).

The Service Module also has the red NASA on it. I will see if I can redo that.

Suggestion: Is there anyway to change the launch trajectory to support these initial parking orbit parameters?

Altitude at MECO: ~120 km
Inclination: +32 degrees
Semi-major axis: 7289 km
Inclination: 0.1218

Maybe. This uses MS2015. So there is a guidance file.

I've tried and gotten close... but MS2015 doesn't seem to ever be able to get the argument of perigee where I need to be. Figured I might just be doing something wrong.

This is what I have:
Multistage 2015 Automatically Generated Guidance File Vehicle: SLS -10.000 =orbit(400.00,2590.00,-28.6271778,1.00,80,0.00) -5.000 =engine(0.00,100.00,5.00,0.00,0.00,0.00) 0.000 =engine(100.00,100.00,1.00) 50.000 =engine(100.00,85.00,3.00) 53.000 =engine(85.00,85.00,1) 80.000 =engine(85.00,100.00,3.00) 81 =pitch(57,20,179) 83.000 =engine(100.00,100.00,1.00) 260 =pitch(20,8,50) 310 =pitch(8,7,165)

Orbit(PeA,ApA,Inc,Mode,GravTurnPitch,Abside)
The complete orbit autopilot! All these forms of calls are valid. PeA and ApA are in km Inclination is in degrees, positive to launch northward, negative to launch southward. If not specified or less than launch latitude azimuth=90° will be used Mode =1 for upright, -1 for upside down GravTurnPitch is the initial gravity turn pitch in case automatic value is not satisfactory Abside is the target altitude of cutoff in case automatic value is not satisfactory (note: this, may lead to less precision of the autopilot)

Added the red NASA to the Orion SM

Let me see about the ESA logo. Looks like a flag on the escape cover also.

Do we have an MS2015 vessel that does orbit the way you want?

yes your right about the flag and the same parking orbit the Apollo used
Not the same LEO parking orbit (160x160 km) but rather 30x1,806 km due to the Core Stage disposal requirement. No leaving a huge uncontrolled object in orbit. The ICPS will perform a 22-second long Perigee Raise Maneuver at T+51:22 to raise the perigee altitude. The TLI burn occurs at 1:38:03 for 17 minutes and 59 seconds.

I am not an orbit guy. But as I understand it. The ms2015 gets you into space. The rest is up to u.
