Although, I have nothing in mind for those two vessels at this point, so some suggestions (personality and appearance) would help.
I am trying to appease a whole community of Arrow and DGIV fanboys (er...fanmans) here.

Also, how would the bay work? Riding on her back I guess?

Also, there's a major element missing from the design of the XR2, I'm amazed you haven't missed it. Fortunately it's very easy to retcon...

The design of the Arrow came to me in a dream. Really!
I don't remember what it was about, but the Arrow was there. I think my brain CTD'd before it was finished.
I did draw her, although not perfect to the dream. And just because it was in a dream doesn't mean it's going to be good.

Also, do you think a personification of the Flamberge would get her some much needed attention? Someone to texture her? I might do one anyway, I start to imagine...

As for handling the Arrow's docking bay, I didn't, so far. I didn't handle the gravity wheel either...:shrug:
She doesn't seem much like a "Big ol' mothership"- I guess she should, huh. To give you an idea, she looks about as old as Yakumo Yukari. In Yukarin-years, of course.

So, I decided (for now) the Arrow bay will be a cape to hide in (see attached). I decided to remove the cargo racks on her back and just have her carry the cargo. Still no gravity wheel, elevator, or rover lift.

Also, the Flamberge just looks BA. I'm adding her to my list, along with erosion. :thumbup:
