Hello
Problem with faulty MGatlantis.ddl solved! I was installed newer graphics driver, and it seems that it's all OK:woohoo:

CTD 1 sec after load complete

Hi

I haven't been able to find a solution for this after going through this thread so here goes:

I get a CTD 1 second after any scenario load is complete. I've been focusing on trying to get the STS-120 T-10 min scenario working, but all other scenarios have the same CTD.

Latest attempt was on a clean orbiter install with only Hi-res KSC, SSU, orbitersound and spacecraft3. (VS2008 is installed, running Vista 32bit btw)

I have made all the minor fixes I could find listed earlier, but no luck.

Looks like you're using Orbiter 2010. The released SSU (V. 1.25) is for 2006 and dosn't work in 2010.

Is there going to be a 2010 version of the ultra? Earth looks so good at L14 lol and SSU would be awsome.

Yes, we're working on it. Please understand that there's very few of us and we're doing this in our spare time which is limited, so it is going to take a while.

Are you still using Orbiter 2006-P1?

SSU 1.25 was removed from Orbit Hangar because it isn't compatible with Orbiter 2010-P1. If you use Orbiter 2010-P1, please download the latest version. Information how to do it is available in this forum.

SSU Missing meshes error

The current version designed for Orbiter 2010-P1 is there.
I downloaded from the link which was the sourceforge trunk. And modules are installed and enabled. CRT is in the modules/pluging folder the rest are in modules folder. I installed spacecraft3. I am getting a error looks like missing textures:

1) Which scenario are you using? Some, if not most, of the scenarios are broken at the moment.

2) It looks like your SVN isn't set up correctly as all those textures should be in there. I don't know how to help you there but someone I'm sure will.

The sourceforuge "TrunK" is the latest commit? Am I missing something? I don't think the SSU team would have commited something unfinished. Do I need a previous earlier version of SSU? I am lost now.

What you download is unfinished. The sourceforge version is the in-development version and is technically unsupported. If you want a stable version you'll have to wait for the next offical release.

Again, which scenario are you using? Some of them are from earlier in the project and no longer work.

The sourceforuge "TrunK" is the latest commit?
The trunk contains the latest commit. But the link pointing to tarball from the SiameseCat's post (I linked earlier) is to revision 1135 of SSU, which corresponds to the revision used to compile the module pack. If you used SVN client to get SSU you most likely got the latest revision. If you used the link from that post, you got the revision 1135, which isn't the latest commit.

We commit what compiles, but that doesn't mean it is finished or bug free. (and more often than not, I committed something that didn't even do that...)

We should be using tags for having stable versions memorized, but then, we are too few developers for this making sense, since nobody really bothers about such formal stuff like the release strategy or development roadmap...we have some sort of creative anarchy here. Not always optimal, but then, better than nothing. Also it works, since this small group of developers usually manages to remain coordinated well enough.

I prefer telling people what we have done, instead of telling them what they should do in their free time.

Now you understand why they don't actively promote the in-development versions. :p
