This is an attempt to rebuild the history of Orbiter in a single thread.
HISTORY
1. How did Orbiter start, how did the concept got to materialize?
2. How is that the community started to be created?
3. What important milestones could we establish in the timeline of history of Orbiter and Orbiter community?
4. What can we say about the game designers (Martin , other people in Orbiter credits, and the most remarkable addons)
5. How did Orbiter evolve itself?
6. How did an independent website by a single author (Martin) got to call the attention of people from NASA, ESA, and other agencies, and other people from aerospace industry?
7. What other Orbiter related initiatives have taken place? Educational events, awards, etc?
8. Any other aspect of Orbiter history that is worth mentioning?
