At 3.26am with work tomorrow?

Methinks not!

Anyway, I've seen lunar eclipses in the past and, while they're quite nice, they aren't as impressive as a solar eclipse, so I don't mind missing this one! Unfortunately, there are no total solar eclipses visible from the UK before 2020, and possibly for some time after that - I could only find the ones up until then. There's a partial solar eclipse in 2015, but that's the best we get here! :(

Weather looks poor in North of England, but I'll have a look anyway.

Down here in SNAFU AZ (I've got to find a spot to rant soon) the sky is quite overcast. We may get a glimpse, but I'm really not holding my breath (though the air is so foul, I'm tempted anyway.)

The earth is round. I am not exactly under it like you are, I am a little more west...;)

It just peaked over the trees, looks awesome.:speakcool:

That was awesome, clear sky in the Old Dominion. Didn't think we would see it as it was snowing and overcast earlier in the evening, but it turned out nice. Pretty damn cold, though. Shivering is not conducive to good steady binocular viewing.

It was cold, but the bloody sky was covered with clouds. I was looking forward to this one, I was thinking of taking pictures. That's that plan foiled :( Anyway, at least I was able to watch it live on a stream. It's not the same feeling though.

Not a sausage, low cloud, raining, saw a faint glow, but that could have been a meteor or a missile hit....

The clouds cleared, and the moon cleared the trees, (I had to climb ontop of the roof ;)) And saw it perfectly. :speakcool: Took some nice pics with my camera too although nothing professional.

I prefer solar eclipses too. Not to mention that we were under overcast here in southern California. That's why I took a quick flight over to Tranquility Base. From there it was a nice total solar eclipse high in the western sky.
