There should be no Soyuz because RU and US are at war.

I think the confusion may lie in the fact, the MW2 was launched by the shuttle. But, Russia and US at war... ?

I think he means Modern Warfare II. (The game.)

Because it is a game and shouldn't be taken seriously.

I am reminded of a comedian who pointed out that although the animators of MW franchise were so detailed to capture the sweat dripping from the eyebrows, no one bothered to notice that the language spoken in Pakistan is Urdu, NOT Arabic.

The real question is, since MW2 is in 2016, why aren't there any US spacecrafts on the US segment of the ISS? oh wait...

It could even be SpaceX; what happened to the US in 2016 (and in MW2 universe) that neither of these occured?

A dead give away is that the station is still in the 11A assembly configuration. 11A was the STS-113 mission in November/December 2002, the last ISS assembly mission prior to STS-107.
So the shuttle never flew again leaving all of the remaining USOS elements on the ground.
