We could, but somehow I don't think she'd survive very long;)

Well, on Mercury with these clothes, she'd survive for about 90 seconds ... But on the base, she can even enjoy it ! She will even stop complaining about her weight :p But we are missing "dolls" (Urwumpe :p) here on the base

Mhhh, lots of tongues here on this post ... *runs*

You know you are addicted when you start shouting "OPEN THE DOCKING PORT!!!" when you arrive at a friend house.
When you code an orbiter add-on and suddenly you don't know what to type, and then you are like "WARNING: Memory Leak"
When you look at your fuel gauge, notice the fuel is getting very low, and then think "Quickly ! A space station !" and then finally say "Oh, I have RCS ..."

Not so much talk dirty, but there can be a lot of innuendo. And after a weekend being exposed to my daughters sorority, they are every bit as bad as we are.

When you are driving and you time the use of the gas pedal in order to reach the next traffic light.

When you find a way to use Burn-time MFD for this ;)

When you wish you could bring a gatorade UCGO cargo to soccer practice. Trust me, the team could easily get rid of a cubic meter.

Ahem, another item added to my list for next UCGO cargo update

When you attempt some of the more sane ideas in this thread.

When you attempt some of the less sane ideas in this thread

When you attempt all of them!

...when you hear a beep after someone says "translation" or "rotation".

Just happened to me in my Computational Biomechanics class. And then when I went to write it down in my notes, I was even hearing the orbiter sound voice saying it.

Same here, except the chem prof was saying something different. My version was:

Translation (BEEP), Rotation (BEEP), Vibration (BEEP) Hey, what the???

New RCS mode there.

After I registered for the forum, there is that rule page that you have to accept before you can post. You have to wait 10 seconds before you can click "accept," which has a countdown timer. I pressed "T". Nothing happened, at which point I realized the flaw in my logic.

I feel like doing that should automatically be recognized by the forums as a sign you're not a spambot, hence not in need of the limit.

That's called "Death by PowerPoint" and is usually a sign of a bad teacher.

Not necessarily, it can also be a sign of "Distracted too much without the Powerpoint to keep things on-topic". I can think of at least one teacher who needed that.

when you use orbiter to prove another student in your physics class wrong.

When you use Orbiter to prove yourself wrong about a physics issue

bonus points when you use your own add-on to do it.

...when I'm in a physics class about variable-mass systems and I know it will "end" as
png.latex

Actually my physics prof showed me how to get that for no reason while working on a related problem. I really should thank him for that.

And (drumroll please)

You know youre really addicted to Orbiter when you read all 2228 posts in this thread, select the best ones, and create a Best of The You Know Youre addicted to Orbiter When Thread Archive.

And at the end of it, you dedicate it to the probe

Already another one

When looking for the wikipedia page on Luna 3, you type in Probe, and are puzzled when the right page doesnt show up immediately. I guess Wikipedia hasn't been configured properly yet

Caught myself hammering T during the loading screen yesterday evening. Loading and quitting Orbiter repeatedly to get beacons to look good gets old fast.

You know you're addicted to orbiter when you can launch the space shuttle to Mars manually with your eyes closed.

I realised I won`t say `kilometers` any more. Just `klicks`.

When you see license plates you immediately think of orbiter related TLA's to match the three letters on the license plate

Good day;

Well,
Yu kno yu're addicted
when yu have 2 PC and one running Orbiter 24/7!

For me,
If Bill Gates openned the door to Realistic Simulators,
Orbiter brought me into the wonders of space
(as per 3D geometry in motion),
and I'm forever greateful for that!

In fact, Orbiter brings a lot more than that!
When yu are in space, orbiting a body or on course toward one,
and yu just take time to sit back, look around and think,
yur mind starts to reason and stuff gets into perspective...

With some intellectual background, the view on things changes...
One way or another, it's an amazing experience!

I think that is the real value to Orbiter!

Agent0ne.
