Although, there are problems with it - fillings, piercings, earrings, bone fixtures, implants, RFID chips, zippers, and so on.Somehow, I like your idea much better than mojoey's.

But wouldn't it be simpler to do:
Power source -> Bomb
than
Power source -> H2O -> H2 + O2 -> Bomb?

Not necessarily - it's a question of power density.
You can use high energy density power source to produce high power density chemicals, somehow.
H2+O won't really be practical due to large volume needed to be of use.

Damn. The clutch cable of my car broked as I was ready to get back home, after a very long day of work. The end of it fell on my shoe. Had to walk 6 kilometers by night on a desert road, with some creepy 2-kilometers long ammo factory on my right with dozens of "Military Field - Entrance Prohibited -" to find a subway station that got me back home. That was not fun at all. And no rest tomorrow, I have to get the car repaired.

We have all had days like that. I've got to say that when the clutch cable went on my car i was just after i started a hill start on a junction on a busy road, not fun...
