Still a project of course, but the lack of interest to build from us tetrarchs, is actually very disturbing lol.

I have exams coming up so I might not be online until the second half of january, but just hope that by then I have a working design of the parliament, and of course you can always start to build that university hardena.

I've started a facade for the public area of the parliament just to see how it would look at skycity you can go and check eccentrus when you join.

Darn. I'm unable to connect to the minecraft.net login servers. Anyone else having problems? Had a little spare time this evening, was hoping to get a little work done in the nether on the rail line. Oh well, maybe later...

Maybe I should offer to host the login servers on my machine, it seems to be more reliable than theirs

Looks like it's a bigger issue at AWS than just Minecraft.net login:

**EDIT According to the link I posted, it is back online. Their definition of online and mine are very far apart, I'm afraid. Still unable to connect.

Nah, looked like an actual outage at AWS. Looks good now, though, I was able to get logged in about half an hour ago.

Eccentrus stuck floating while entering the gate to my Nether portal today. Adding a more permanent power source than the button (a lever) didn't help. He was floating there for something like 5 minutes without being disconnected, until he disconnected by himself:

happened many times, and saw it on many other people as well, but it was really disturbing yesterday as it disallow me from disapoofing into the nether.

I went searching for an extreme hills biome this morning because I have some pretty neat ideas for my house. So in my quest for the perfect mountain, no PERFECT mountain was found, but a mountain that will suit my long-term needs has been found. So here are a few screenshots from my epic journey:

I have come across this absolutely stunning cliffy extreme hills biome when searching:

I went searching more, because I didn't like the aforementioned place's surroundings: I want a place with an easy access to a desert so I can make a lot of glass, and easy access to a forest so I can make a lot of charcoal.

So I found this awesome place:

Looking at another angle, right from the edge of my mountain:

I went searching some more to see if I could find a better place. In the meantime it started snowing and I found 12(!!!) wild pumpkins! YAY!

Then I took a journey along the boundary between the desert and the taiga, and came back to the village from which I saw my proposed snowy place. It's half-ruined, but I managed to find a random place with a bed in it so I took a nap:

Here's a view of the half-ruined village. It's really ugly and it's also vacant so I'm considering destroying it. May I?

I ended up settling for the snowy cliff. It's awesome, and I can do everything I have in mind with it, given enough time and resources.
Some info about it:
-It has a plain right below it, which is perfect for the park I'm planning to build. That park will be the place to be when I'll start operating my random fireworks
-It has a vast taiga forest behind it, which is good for gathering my resources for when I need lots of them. Only problem would be getting down to the forest every time, so I might build a minecart railway for that
-As mentioned, it has an ugly village in front of it

I have a plan in mind for the castle I'm going to build there, so stay tuned!
