Auto pilot idea: Is there a record maco MFD anywhere. The idea being that for most launches from the same place seem to me to be very similar everytime.
If you had an MDF that recorded the results and then with one key could reproduce that series of manuevers. And you could make several recordings so as to combine them as needed. I would think it was cool.
I'm not talking about a real autopilot that allows you to dock with the ISS everytime. But one that could allow reproduce similar manuvers each time.
Examples of how it could be used: launch from moon to orbit, clearing the ISS. Certain final approach proceedures assuming you start at the exact position you recorded the macro at. Especially convienient for manuvers repeated often.
Thanks.
