@callefalsa123 Try installing the VC++ runtimes.
It seems like you can't run any of the DLLs in my addons, and since I use the same build environment for all of them that may be the common factor here.
https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x86.exe

That was it !!
Now I can see your gorgeous ISS.
And the visualization problems I was having with the other add-ons were fixed as well.

Thank you so much for the assistance, and for developing this add-on too.

Hi @Max-Q I kinda fixed the rotation issue of the ODS docking port by rotating the DDS image by 60º (not sure if it's 100% aligned though, I think it's still just a hair off... however, I'm not familiar with the DDS format and can't get Gimp to save the file properly, I'm attaching the modified files, and a couple of screenshots, maybe you want to look further ? You will see the iss_03.dds file doesn't have any of the layers, gimp is not saving them... Cheers.

Edit: the docking port is OK, it's just the internal hatch door that I rotated.

Edit 2: Reattached DDS files zipped, because they got removed :)

Thanks for fixing this! :)
No issue to save the files as the correct format on my end, the alignment looks good to me.

I can save the DDS file, it's just the lower resolution layers that don't get saved, are they necessary ?

I guess I don't really understand, a DDS is one layer.
When I originally open the iss_03.dds file on gimp, it has few laryers: "main surface" and mipmap 1 to 10 (10 layers). The norm dds is just one layer.

Ah. You can just delete the mipmap layers.
Then when you save the DDS, there should be an option for "Create mipmaps" or something to that effect.
It will then create them for you automatically during the save process.

Cool, will have a look into it, also will try to improve it, and will submit the result back to you for any future release :) Just realized my rotation left the door upside down comparing it to the real thing, so in fact needs to be rotated 240º (60º + 180º) or 120º to the left, also I left some transparencies which cause weird visual effects hahaha

It doesn't look like this mesh includes the hatch or docking target, it looks like it's the docking ring itself and petals.
I can take a look at it, but it may require more effort than I want to put into this at this time since the APAS-95 is hidden under the IDA in the default configuration.

That's cool, in the meantime here is the best result I could get :) The third picture is from a youtube video from the real thing docking :)

Edit: I'm using @GLS SSV for this shoots.

Thanks a lot.

Hi again @Max-Q, got a question about the Canadarm: I've grappled one of the ports on the MBS, and now I see:

LEE2 - Latched
LEE1 - BASE

I want to know if there is any way to switch the BASE to the MBS, so I can un-grapple the other end, and move the arm with the MBS around the place. Can't find anything in the canadarm docs...

Cheers.

If you are using the Canadarm2 press cntrl+A to swap between base and grapple.

That looks great!
Thanks for fixing this, is it ok if I include this texture modification in the next release?
Hi Max, I got even better results using the blender tools and stencil texture paint, and increasing the texture file size to 8192x8192 (original size is 1024x1024) It looks great, but (there is always a but) the iss_03.dsn file went to around 200Mb :ROFLMAO:

@Max-Q Quick question, since you have been working with textures and stuff more than I, how can I get rid of the mirror efect on the surfaces ? Check attached picture... I've tried a few settings in blender, but they don't seem to help much...

BTW, screenshot is the generic APAS-95 passive ring + IDAS on your Better_ISS, I'll be sharing the mesh + textures later

Edit: I found how to fix this, on the ./Config/GC/ISS_HD.cfg file :)
