I would argue that I have knowledge of particular types of design, primarily mechanical in nature. Of design that deals with the graphical arts, however, I have absolutely zero experience. I therefore find it amusing that debate surrounds the use of a font in the manner it does Comic Sans. However, I also recognize that a graphic artist may find it amusing that mechanical engineers (and students such as myself) nitpick over the intricacies of bolt placement in a machine, and so it appears to be a two-way street.
By the way, I wrote the above in Comic Sans and I think it looks fine. :lol:
That kind of font, although, does not look good in graphics or any serious artistic work. But if the art is made out of the font, or uses the font for its artistic value, maybe not.
