Current WineHQ rating is 'Garbage,' though the most recent listed test is almost a year old, with an older version of Wine.

I got my discount coupon, but on the website it turns out that a further discount can be had by buying more than one license:

for the Home edition.

I haven't used my coupon yet, so I'll wait a couple of days until Sunday evening 2200 CET in case anyone wants to pool in.

After today's update to the release version time to do a small roundtrip with the Mirage in the Caucasus:

As can be seen, this proved to be quite enjoyable: the route was approximately Batumi-Mineralnye Vody-Tbilisi-Batumi, without landing at these intermediate waypoints.

On approach with not much fuel remaining:

Synthetic runway, yay! To date I'd only seen it on the PMDG 737 for FSX.

The fuel really was running out:

Last heads-up in case anyone wants to pool in for a purchase of Tacview, taking advantage of the discount code I got from the Hoggit subreddit:
the way it works is that the more people pool in, the less we'd pay for a license (as seen above, if three people decided to buy Tacview Home edition we'd each pay 8.01€ instead of 10.68, for example).

I'll buy the Home edition in any case this evening.

I am slightly worried about the economic forecast for Wolfsburg, the new toy I ordered and which I will get delivered tomorrow and the same total cost calculation.

At least I can strike buying an apartment from the list of 2016, the square meter price is still too high.

Yeah, had tried it myself a while back, but it seems broken atm. I just kept getting cleared pre-contact and contact message over and over, but didn't seem to take on any fuel. Did it work for you?

On other news, Joint Warrior 5 inter VS MP event just finished. Red wins.

Got the NTTR map and the Mirage 2000C this week... first quick stop in the cockpit:

You don't even need to read the manual for activation of the plane. Its really that simple. The communication gear is a bit uncooperative, but it works eventually, so no need to surprise somebody when starting the engines. Which was really needed because the minimum thrust level needed to get generators and hydraulics running is not far away from the point you start rolling. (I thought the parking brakes had been active. Will check this next time)

And did somebody else already notice the NASCAR race in Las Vegas?

That's a fairly unrealistic distribution of parked cars...they should be much denser toward the facility, then tapering off further off, not just randomly spread out throughout the parking lot!

That is absolutely realistic. NASCAR races are so boring, that barely nobody stays for longer than two laps. The parking lots had been 100% full initially. :lol:

PS: I now discovered at least two interesting objects in Area 51 :lol:
