I've found many uses for the FuelMFD, but I'm wondering has anyone made something that I can use to transfer extra O2 from my X5 spacecraft to a SSBB tank on my space station? I tried to search the forum for an answer, and got nothing useful.

No, there is nothing available.

Fuel is a resource created by Orbiter itself. Every addon can reference it. O2 supply is created by every addon independently. I'm not even sure that SSBBs use O2, though I might be wrong about that.

If the O2 is defined as a propellant tank like IMS it can, but I personally like to set it as a custom variable to reduce confusion (and stop the cheaters :facts:)

I suspect I may be responsible for this. Are you using the SSBB project that I was creating?

Is this any good, or have I got the wrong idea.

RefuelMFD lets me transfer Scram fuel to Main or RCS tanks but it can't seem to touch the O2 tanks. I assume that the 'small consumables' tanks in SSBB (BTank201, 202, 203, and 204) are for O2 and other consumables whereas the 'large fuel & Oxydizer Tanks (BTank101, 102, 103, and 104) are for Fuel systems. I'd love to be able to transfer excess O2 from my X5 to the 'small consumables' tanks in SSBB.

Guess I can't do that directly.

I use RefuelMFD all the time. Great add-on.

I too, would like to be able to control O2 in the same way. I suppose you could have a similarly operating, 'eye=candy' MFD that could 'monitor' consumption of a user-defined upper limit(full tanks) Of course nothing would happen when 'Empty', but that wouldn't really matter since the point of having such a 'monitoring' would be to resupply before that anyway.

I think there's your problem. Unless your using some modified version of SSBB, all the parts are pure decoration. AFAIK, some of them have animations, but none of them do anything special, and I don't think any of the tanks actually hold anything.

All quantities of stuff you carry are usually defined as fuel tanks, because it is the most convenient way to do it. So, for Orbiter, what's inside is generic "fuel".

Actually, the large tanks to hold some fuel. Based on my estimates, 5-6 large tanks should be able to hold a full fuel load for a thirsty XR5.
