Hi,
I've got question about making orbiter videos:
Is there a free programm to make orbiter videos?
Or what do I need to make videos in orbiter?
I want to make videos without special effects.

Thanks for answers.

I know of no free program which can capture full resolution, high quality video.
You can use the Fraps demo, it is limited on the recording time and embeds a logo in the video. Whilst Fraps is very capable, I don't like the codec it is using. It screws with the colors due to not recording in RGB.

Regarding cutting the video together, there are many free programs. Depending on your needs, virtualdub might suffice. AviSynth is a very advanced very capable scripting engine/frame server.
But there were some threads discussing this, which contain more information and links.

This one is listed in the "Similar Threads" box on this page. And there are more to be found with the search function.

Hmmm, I've never had trouble with the Fraps codec color-wise, as long as I convert it to a different codec before trying to play it...

How can I activate that BSR recordes sound from orbiter?

You need a lead which has a standard headphone jack on each end.

Then, you need to plug one end into the line out socket on your PC, and the other end into the line in socket.
That way, the sound will go out of your PC, and be redirected back into the PC to be recorded.

You need a lead like this (but longer):

You could do that.... OR You go to your (windows) volume control, click options -> properties, select Recording (or the recording device, depending on your drivers) and select Stereo Mix or Wave, again depending on your driver, you might have to mute everything except the thing you want recorded.
Voila, perfect lossless digital recording without messing with a cable.
It is a little complicated to explain, due to different driver names and architectures.
One can also achieve the same via the audio option in the control center.
The procedure is very similar in Vista.

Exactly where he said. Look at the bottom of your your computer screen. There should be a little microphone icon. Right click on it and click the adjust audio properties button. Look through there. You should find what he is talking about.

It is often called "wave" or similar.
You can switch through them while recording. If your recording software shows the currently recording volume, you can easily identify the correct one by playing something and cycling through the sources.
Alternatively, post a screenshot :)

Here's a pic ( don't know if this is the right pic):
(It is in german:))

Maybe you understood it wrong: I don't want to record sound from a mircophone. I want to recorde sound from orbiter, like engine sound and so on...

That is Vista and your soundchip looks like one of those crappy things they slap into laptops.
Anyway, I was talking about XP and the normal volume control.
I have done such thing under Vista once, and absolutely am uncapable of doing it again without seeing it directly. If you want, PM me in IRC or one of the messengers I listed here and I will take a look at you via TeamViewer.
