Announcement OHM - Deployments, and fixes

Okay folks, let's give Xyon a bit of a break. I just got back into my OH account by re-inputting my OF ID number (kind of re-registering). If you can't find your OF ID number, place your mouse over your login name (where it says "Welcome XXXX") at the upper right of the OF. Your ID number will appear at the lower left.

Cheers all.

Doh! I couldn't log in to OH on my old account username/password, so I re-input my OF ID number - now I seem to have created a duplicate empty account. Help! (Sorry Xyon!)

This.
Most of us aren't waiting for this to be fixed so we can upload an addon but only to feel happy that things are working, so no rush Xyon.

Well, in fairness, I've only myself to blame. I didn't pick this up in testing because the permissions and user info are cached into the API token to save on lookups, so, mea culpa.

I'll go through the accounts I know about and straighten things out, and I'll take care of your unfortunate transporter accidents, too. Now that the bug is fixed, setting remedial OF Ids is a lot easier.

I can't login again.

Needless to say, I can't login either.

Me neither. ;)

Fixed.

Login confirmed fixed here! Thanks!

Now, it looks like the corona virus was here in the forum for a while... :shifty:

Login confirmed working again. Thank you very much sir!:tiphat::cheers::banana:

Xyon, here is a coronavirus for you: the "remember me" does not work on Orbit Hangar. I always have to login after opening the site.

Also, I can't delete my obsolete add-ons despite having a relatively high network.

So when I click on Links then click on Orbiter Mods Page this part works.
Unfortunately, when I try to use the Browse option its all screwed up.
How long has this been going on?
Is it being addressed?

At the moment, the tick box is actually a GNDN conduit - it Goes Nowhere, and Does Nothing. I'll implement it soon.

As far as your obsolete addons goes, I'm not sure why you can't delete them, but making them unpublished for now should prevent anyone downloading them while I'm investigating.

I did an update on the PHP engine, and it decided to sneakily add a port 9000 listener to both pools, which then meant only the OHM one started, and the forum one then got an error and wouldn't start. But neither pool should listen on a TCP port anyway, so removing it fixed it.

I've no idea what that means, but thanks anyway!

If you can't get into the site, just let Xyon know. Once he fixes your login you can get and download the desired addons. Once in, I've had no problems getting to download an addon that I've wanted.

Cheers.

Hello,

Where can I find the addons to download while you guys update the website.

https://web.archive.org/web/20131028193354/http://orbithangar.com/gallery.php

???

Thanks

So, for instance, if you found this addon in the wayback machine;

https://web.archive.org/web/20060507231252/http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=2314

You can take the web archive stuff off the front of that URL and it'll work, i.e:

[ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=2314"]301 Moved Permanently[/ame]

Which seamlessly redirects to the newer version of the page, ultimately directing you to https://www.orbithangar.com/showAddon.php?id=34fab0b7-782d-4a1f-91ea-78fbccaf177d.

That's an addon from the first iteration of the site the wayback machine has saved, from 2006, and you can still download it. All of the original addons are available in the current site. The difficulty is they're just harder to find, and I'm working to improve that.

Categorisation information has now been successfully imported from the legacy dataset, meaning browsing by category should now work.

See #91 above.

I think a spot of work is needed on the page numbers, so that you don't have scroll an insane amount horizontally:
