Thats fair enough, good luck to them.
We do have wild boar farms with the occasional escape, with warnings to stay away from them.

Some are trying to introduce the Eurasian Lynx to Scotland, Much resistance from sheep farmers as you would imagine.

Since when are sheep herded in dense forests? o.O

Scotland is a strange and mystic place. Even the Romans gave up on it.
Wouldn't give much for the Lynx's chances.

Unless it quickly adapts, drinks Whisky and hates the English.

I'm still adamant about exporting my 3D models to Orbiter meshes. Since I've had no luck with Blender and it doesn't export the textures correctly for me, I'm going to give Anim8or a try.
My question is the following, where can I find a plugin to export to MSH from Anim8or? In Orbiter Downloads?

There should be my old one, but it has some known bugs and I didn't revisit it yet for the latest version.

I can't promise that I will fix it before 2025, so if somebody else wants to continue it, I wouldn't be really sad.

In surprising news, "exception" is the first property produced by Netflix that I dare call good science fiction! It's not perfect, and its visual aesthetics of "anime meets traditional painting" as well as its far-future nano/biopunk worldbuilding is probably not going to be everybody's cup of tea, but it seems to get what it wants to be about, understands how to wrap it into a compelling narrative with decent characters and a pretty strong plot twist, and doesn't think its audience is dumb as a doorknob. Feels like it could be an older short story from Alastair Reynolds, which is a pretty strong compliment to give to a streaming mini-series.

Genesis alpha 1 currently as a free giveaway on GoG: https://www.gog.com/de/game/genesis_alpha_one_deluxe_edition

Unforgiving ship-building/managment/exploration/fps survival roguelike. Haven't played it yet, but the reviews sound like it might be my cup of tea, so some other people here might think the same. And since it's free right now... Well, just thought I'd let y'all know.

Its free, so why not. In the worst case, I reactivated my GOG account without a good reason. In the best case, its worth trying. At least my notebook should have enough power for the game.

Well, I love that it's basically one big homage to 80ies scifi movies.
I loved less that the tutorial was trying to teach me to plant a tree while aliens were chewing up my entire ship. Long time since I last died in a tutorial, but that did the trick.
Funnily enough, the tutorial start seems a lot more hectic than a regular start. I got my bearings a bit now, and I find it pretty fun.

Ohhhh... I guess Toady needs some cash to go buy christmass presents... :ROFLMAO:
I'll buy it anyways, but I'll have to see about what they did with the interface. I so hope playing it will stop feeling like using emacs...
