I bought an entire box of donuts so that I could have one for breakfast. My kids ate all of them overnight. I'm starting to think people were a mistake.
Your children know how the game is played. You'll have to buy more donuts now. They know this.I bought an entire box of donuts so that I could have one for breakfast. My kids ate all of them overnight. I'm starting to think people were a mistake.

I'd take two and blame my sister.I would never have gotten away with that as a kid. My parents are pretty laid back, but that just wouldn't have flown. Any time we had sweets in the house, we knew exactly how many we could take each, per meal. If we wanted stuff in between meals it was easier to beg and get dad thinking "a doughnut would be good right about now".
Bit extreme but okayThat's because sugar is addictive. And children can't understand what it really means : diabete & obesity, and can't manage the frustration.
I suggest another approach : buy a few meters of good chain and a strong lock, and sleep with the keys around your neck. Or go out once a week with the kids to have a donut / icecream outside.
Bit extreme but okay

Usually when he stands up, MP's sit down and stop speaking. Didn't quite go like that yesterday...

I feel like Netflix' "The Seabeast" could have been a genuinely great film if it wouldn't have tried to be "How to train your Dragon", but instead would have gone all out for age-of-sail-ish monster movie. it's still a good watch as it is, but the gritty ship atmosphere (which the movie pulls of pretty well, in a cartoonish sort of way) just won't quite fit together with the wimsy...
Yeah, it's essentially "Moby Dick, but it turns into how to train your dragon halfway through". I feel like "Moby Dick, but it turns into Pacific Rim halfway through" would have worked a lot better for the characters as well as the general atmosphere the first act builds up to.took a big bite of Moby Dick and yeah, some How to train your Dragon
