Note; I don't plan on making daily updates.

Building position randomly chosen at 115*W, 51.6*N, subject to change.

I severely underestimated the size of shuttle launch pads. They have been placed 1 km east of the base marker for now. I am considering adding launch pads for other vehicles, as suggested by some members.

3 hangrails have been added for transport between terminals. 2 will be elevated 20 meters to allow vessels' passage. 2 others have been added for transport between different tarmacs.

A large control tower has been added to the plan as well.

A new list of base items:

1 -- 3 km runway facing east and west
1 -- 3000*50 m taxiway parallel to runway
6 -- Connections from taxiway to runway
4 -- Connections from taxiway to tarmacs
3 -- Tarmacs for hangars, terminals, and VTOLs (375*550, 525, and 450, respectively)
3 -- 25*50 m hangars
15 - 50*50 m hangars
2 -- 100*100 m hangars (17 in all)
3 -- 75*50 m passenger terminals
5 -- Hangrails
5 -- 50*50 m VTOL pads
2 -- 100*100 VTOL pads
2 -- Space shuttle launch pads (possibly others)
1 -- Navigational VOR for instrument approaches
1 -- Control tower
(Some numbers changed from last entry due to arithmetic errors)

Looking good so far. Any suggestions are welcome. (Thanks to those who already helped) A revised map of the spaceport is attached. :tiphat:

Hmm... interestingly, the random place you choose for the spaceport is only 90 km / 55 miles north-west of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Hmm..... :hmm:

you might want to save images as PNG - much smaller format. BMP is... untidy in how it does things.

Will this be a Polar based launch site? It seems closer to the North Pole than to the Equator.

I have it at 51.6*N for a straight east ISS azimuth.
And infrequent launch windows. It's not quite as simple as launching from a latitude as high as the target inclination... :p
