Earth, clearly Earth. It feels good to return home.

Had to think about this one a while since each has so many things going for it. Had to pick Jupiter since it is a nice deep gravity well giving it a lot of sling options. Mercury is a fun challenge on single DG tank from Earth. Venus has a fun initial sling for low DV work when starting from Earth. Earth would have been a shoe-in for best but I am not counting it because to me the whole point of Orbiter is the planetary vacation it enables. Mars is a fun place to land on and has the perfect position and atmosphere for inverted aeroslings. Saturn is "pretty" and has a great array of moons to play among but has a nasty habit of switching orbit positions during restarts. I avoid it usually. Uranus was actually going to be my second choice for nice accurate moon system to hop around the moons and is also an interesting place to arrive at or leave from with respect to interplanetary trips due to the offset angle of the moon system. Neptune was down my list since there weren't many moons to play in and they were far apart. Although the retrograde of Triton is fun to work with when going back and forth between it and Proteus.

Choose Earth since I'm stuck here in this biosphere. Just biased that way. (Damn Flatlander!)

Chipstone306: Won't give you any grief for including Pluto as a planet.

I also chose Earth. Family and friends are here and there's really no place like home.

Like Goldilocks' porridge, it's just right here.

I almost chose Eris because just like her namesake, when she showed up, all hell broke loose.

imo the whole point in picking a fav planet is for escaping from earth for sometime away. Where would I go you ask me? Mars. :)

Well if escaping the Earth is the criteria, then I'm all for the the asteroid belt, though this is probably more of a failed planet, and with Pluto and Eris in the poll, probably qualifies.

Lots of potential resources there, twice as much sunlight as Jupiter, and lots and lots of elbow room.

It used to always be Jupiter, but now my favourite planet is Earth, for the simple reason that there is so much of interest here. So much variety.

But yeah, if not Earth, then Jupiter.

why Pluto? That still comes back to the debate of if it is a planet.

Actually, it's hot.

*Fries egg on rock*

Yup, real hot. In fact, you could say she's a real hottie. And now I've forgotten whether we are discussing a planet or a Roman deity.
