Who needs a TV today anyway? I only need mine because a 40" display is better for watching than a 15.6" notebook.

Another storm here today, if it wouldn't be so damn warm today (up to 14°C) it would be typical Christmas weather in northern Germany.

Same here. Will be near Stuttgart on Christmas, borderline short-sleeve weather is expected.

We had perfect Christmas weather here in southern Ontario, got a light dusting of snow right as I was finishing exams, just enough that it feels like December, but not enough to be a bother.

Then it rained the last two days, and everything is wet and cold.

69° F / 21° C tomorrow, 62° F / 17° C for Christmas

Doesn't feel right. Around here it is 50/50 whether we have snow by Christmas, but usually we're getting freezing weather.

16°C predicted for tomorrow. I already look for a good aloha shirt to wear tomorrow.

Right now it's around +8*C.
Even worse, it's raining outside.

Kinda freakish - it's typical to get a lot of snow and around -10*C this time of the year, with a couple of years being -20 to -30 on my memory.

Christmas is looking cold and rainy for us. 23°C.

Low 30's are fairly typical for Christmas

And here in the Seattle area, we're looking at a possible snowy Christmas. Probably won't last long, but there is snow in the forecast at present.
It's also snowed once, and it's been slushing for a while now. It's a little different from what I'm used to from Northern California, but hey, it's not bad.

I had to put on pants to go outside today, but only because the judge said I had to.

About a month ago my company aquired small Trotec laser cutter/engraver. One of the function of this machine is cutting rubber stamps like those: http://www.colop.pl/tl_files/slidery/pieczatka-colop-compact-KOLORY-SWIATA.jpg.

Yesterday as we're finishing last orders before christmas break I noticed in the cutter's software a project that cought my attention:

PSA.jpg

It's the Polish Space Agency (POLSA). We made few rubber stamps for them.

Althought entire order was really small I'm now official subcontractor for space agency :hailprobe:

Here's our cutter and terrible photo of rubber stamping on paper (my phone makes terrible close ups).

Just watched the Return of the Jedi (1984 version) again and turns out Obi-Wan actually mentions the name Anakin in there.
I never noticed that before, somehow.
