Oh wow, I know I'm going to miss some, but let's see:

DA-20 Katana (pilot)
DA-40 Diamond Star (pilot)
BE-19 Sport (pilot)
Grob-115 (pilot, but only one short flight)
Cessna 172 (SAR spotter and navigator)
CC-130E Hercules (SAR spotter and navigator)
CC-150 Polaris (a converted A310)
B737-200
B737-300
Many other B737s (probably 600s, 700s, and 800s)
A320
B757
Bombardier CRJ200
Unknown boatplane (Flown in mid 80s. I have no clue of the type, but it had retractable landing gear)
Unknown Helicopter (likely a bell 206 Jetranger, it had seats for 4 including pilot and passenger).

Flying is easy, take-off and landing, that's the real excitement.:)

Yes but by allowing me to fly he broke law - he isn't an instructor and I'm not even a pilot student. Anyway I think I can manage take-off in such small sport plane like Wilga but landing without "feeling" aircraft would be very dangerous. It's quite different than FS or Orbiter even with good joystick.

Move slow and try not to break too much.

I wish I could cheer you up and say, you're not missing anything, ...but you are.:(

Above the planet on a wing and a prayer,
My grubby halo, a vapor trail in the empty air,
Across the clouds I see my shadow fly
Out of the corner of my watering eye
A dream unthreatened by the morning light
Could blow this soul right through the roof of the night
There's no sensation to compare with this
Suspended animation, A state of bliss
Can't keep my eyes from the circling skies
Tongue-tied and twisted just an earth-bound misfit, I

Uhm - I honestly haven't got a clue what most of the planes I've flown in are..... mostly Boeing 747/757/767/777 i think......but to be fair I've been airborne a lot!

I've never been a pilot...and have no intention of doing so. You know the babies who scream at landing and take off? ya that's me - every bloody time.

Hehe, I even remember every single flight...
  1. 1998, Air Berlin B737, from EDLP to GCRR and back.
  2. 2000, Lufthansa A320 or A321, from EDDV to EDDM.
  3. 2000, Lufthansa Dash 8, from EDDM to LIRQ and back.
  4. 2000, Lufthansa CRJ, from EDDM to EDDV.
  5. 2001, Air Berlin B737, from EDDV to LEMH and back.
  6. 2006, Hamburg International B737 from EDLP to ENAL and back.
  7. 2007, Dubrovnik Airlines MD-80 from EDDH to ENGM.
  8. 2007, Widerøe Dash 8 from ENSG to ENGM (best flight of my life...).
  9. 2007, Norwegian Air Shuttle B737 from ENGM to EDDH.
  10. Maybe LFH Britten Norman BN-2 Islander from EDXP to EDWL this Summer.
BTW, 2007 in Norway I found Orbiter on Wikipedia :hail::probe:.

Speaking of airplanes.

I just ran outside to watch someone doing aerobatics over my house. An Extra 300 I think.

I'm jealous. I love the 337, and if I were to look into owning a twin at some point, that would be on the top of my list.

Boeing 737 (7 hours flight, my duration record), Airbus A320 and the one I liked the most, a Bombardier "small" (less than 100 seats) bireactor, excellent acceleration and rate of climbing ! Traveled 600 kilometers in 45 minutes in this one, very cool !!

No idea how many individual trips. My earliest ones began in the 1960's on TWA and Pan Am. Various versions of the following for sure, probably missed something.

720
727
737
747
767
777
Airbus A320
Airbus A319
DC-6 or 7 as a kid on inter-island hops in Hawaii mid to late 1960's
L-1011
DC-8
DASH 8
Jetstream 41
DC-3
2 helecopters (1980's) Civilian Huey's.
1 Sail Plane (no-idea on manuf.)

I remember a Cub Scout field trip to LAX when the first 747's were rolled out. The airlines were giving tours of the aircraft. Nobody had ever seen anything like those things, two floors, the shear size.
Think of the mindset, this was a few years after the release of 2001, I think we were still walking on the moon...And yes all the other not so cheery stuff was happening.

Feels like a R-172, with retractable gear, and without any left turning tendency. Pleasant.

Of course you know if someone posts that they've flown on the space shuttle, they win.:hail:
