hello! Right off the bat I want thank Martin Schweiger for Orbiter 2010 and
to tell him that his is THE BEST space flight simulation out there.
First I'll have you know I'm a die hard Babylon 5 and Star wars fan and instantly love ship add-ons from those universes, especially the Narn ships for those of you that know what those are.
I'm what you might call a "lazy" space pilot, I know very little about transfers and am very much dependent on the RWarp addon.;)
As mentioned earlier I love the Narn ships and I consider the Gquan cruiser my ship of choice.

Please except me into your community and thanks again.

Welcome to the community Motherbrain

I'm a bit of a trekkie myself, but also enjoy Babylon 5, Star Wars and Stargate, infact any decent sci-fi.
I think you'll be spoilt for chioce with the addons here in relation to Babylon 5. :tiphat:

Thankyou!

Yah Stevcast has been turning out some GREAT B5 add-ons!

I chose the name Motherbrain because he's one of my favorite sci-fi characters!

By the way can you guys help we with a little something?
I know this may be the wrong place to post this and forgive me if I break and rules. But I'm tuning Stevcasts GQuan cruiser. I made maneuvering jets a little weaker (I set them to 40e9) and I'm still trying to figure out how to weaken the ships "translation" movement to make maneuvering around stations less... risky

Welcome to the forum!

I'm a B5 fan also, any well done science fiction gets a  from me.

As far as tweaking the Gquan, I can't help you out (sorry), BUT the best place to ask would be the feedback thread for the add-on. There is where it'll get the most attention.

Translation & rotation are done through the same thrusters in SC3, so their responsiveness should decrease proportionally with thrust at about the same rate. The SC3 config you are using may have a large PMI with an unrealistically low mass value.

Uh oh. I JUST started customizing my ships and I'm afraid to fiddle with the settings to much. But thanks for letting me know.

I have been doing some research and I'm very interested in the OMP or the
Orbiter Multiplayer Project. Is this still in development or is it in a functional state? If its working were can I download the client? Thanks.

Thanks Jango!
I had already done a little digging and had already found it.

I have it "wired in" to Orbiter and I'm still figuring out the setup.

You'll defiantly want to keep OMP in a separate orbiter install, as it changes Earth.cfg to stop the earths rotation to improve synchronization.

No problem, just averting another "Why isn't the earth spinning?" thread.

Actually I don't mind it that much. Not that big a deal it still orbits the Sun like it should.
