Can it be we have a partial lunar eclipse over Germany currently? The moon looks really strange here, not like a cloud covering it. :censored:

Well we have one here in Sweden... Considering Germany isn't THAT far away, I'd say it's most likley a lunar eclipse

Half a month after the Solar Eclipse, I wouldn't be surprised. Shame it's overcast here.

I'm just returned from an observation...
I've seen it all, it started at 21:30 and finished around 00:30.
One of the most beautiful eclipses I've ever seen.

People, you're very lucky. We had here thick clouds all yesterday evening .
Same bad weather we had on last Moon eclipse.
Taking into account local climate, it was very surprising that on 1st August it was sunny.

Saw that one perfectly! It's a shame it wasn't a full eclipse, just partial. The weather was beatifully clear and the fog that dwelled between trees made the scene looking ghostly! :)
