Is it possible to go to orbit in this program (does it simulate the centrifugal-force when crircling around earth)? and if yes, how are the Values ( since i believe that it might be that the world is smaller there and yo only need a lower speed to get into Orbit)
Ok well then I will say this I added more parts and mods to mine it did cause it to load a little slower and I am running it off a 8gig thumbdrive no issues. Just a little slower loading by maybe 10 secs. I am Using Windows 7. So now that I have a portable KSP I then took it to work and ran it on computer at work. It only has onboard video and windows XP with half the ram. Had to turn the vid setting down a little but loading times wasn't any different. Same 10 sec extra loading time. Any luck with the support thread?Irrelevant. Previous versions loaded quickly.

YES, it's definitely possible to orbit this mini-planet. ( I am right now )
The atmosphere 'ends' at around 40k, so that's the lowest orbit you can have.
[shameless plug]Here is a large table of numbers, they can help you with whatever you need. They include Altitude, the Velocity required for a completely circular orbit at that altitude at MECO, the Orbit time (min/orbit), and required escape velocity at that altitude.
(Credits to the creator of that really helpful table; it is not mine)
34 kilometres exactly in my experiments, and it's a very abrupt cut.The athmosphere 'ends' at around 35000m.

I'd call it a bug - the atmosphere is way too unrealistic. Feels like launching from Titan.
A single 1-tank liquid rocket have enough Dv to achieve orbit, but the need to drill through the atmosphere calls for all these massive boosters.
where do you get all these Add-On-parts from?
Someone tell me everything that happened between pages 14 and 28 because I refuse to read all of them.

There's a problem with the parachute. It deploys at 500m altitude, which is all fine and dandy until you reenter over some mountains:
I've noticed that too, am I the only one who waits and then as soon as it's below 500 opens the chute? I would be surprised if I am.There's a problem with the parachute. It deploys at 500m altitude, which is all fine and dandy until you reenter over some mountains:
I open the chute at 300 metres. Then the crew have to go through ~20Gs. :jiggy:
