General Question Hud Color

Hi, everyone; me again. Could someone tell me what file contains the HUD color configuration? Specifically, I'm attempting to experiment with different HUD display colors to make the HUD (heading, speed, altitude, etc.) more visible under different lighting and background conditions. I find the pale green color not so visible occasionally and would like to experiment with different colors and shades. Thanks in advance! Jon

AFAIK, it's hard-coded in to the Orbiter executable...

Addons can change the HUD colour via an API call. The XR series craft do so and you can cycle between a few colours. I find red to be especialy usefull for athmospheric phases of my flight.

Ditto, However the orbiter core can also do this, Ctrl-H ( I think) gives you a few choices.

I knew this at one point. I seriously need to use something besides the XR series from time to time

Oh, wow! That's great! Thanks, folks. I try to be grateful about things and some choices are better than no choices, and since they can be made on the fly I'm sure one of the colors will be fine (or at least better) at any given time. Thanks again.

Alt+H changes the HUD color? I did not know that. I thought you could only do that in the stock DG.
