I've been doing something these past few days: A World Tour in Orbiter 2016 using the DC-6 from Jacquesmomo and Papyref's Rochambeau Addon for Orbiter 2016! And all in real time, so no time warp!
And, before you ask, no I don't wanna do it in a flight sim. Part of the fun is doing it in Orbiter!
The world tour began at
Cayenne (Rochambeau), French Guiana.
Passing over the
Guiana Space Centre.
Arrival at
Caracas, Venezuela at the end of Day 1.
Kingston, Jamaica, destination of Day 2.
Departure from Kingston on Day 3.
Havana, Cuba, at the end of Day 3.
Titusville, USA, at the end of Day 4.
Flying over Daytona Beach and the Daytona International Speedway on Day 5.
Arrival at Indianapolis, USA, at the end of Day 5. (Base from Max-Q's addon
DarkEnergy Spaceplane.)
The total distance traveled so far (with an average of 2 hours per flight).
My next flight will be to a custom spaceport I made on Pelee Island, Canada, before going to New York, then Quebec, then Saint-John, Newfoundland and Labrador, where I'll start crossing the ocean by way of Greenland and Iceland.
But I gotta make the bases first, since only Pelee and Quebec are usable so far x)
(And for this reason, the flights don't take place each day, despite the misleading titling of "Day 1, Day 2, etc". Theres usually a few days ellapsing between each flight until I have the base ready).
Will you publicly release it once it is complete? It would be greatly appreciated.
