I find it mildly overused, particularly for a name that is connected to rather abject failure too. Why would I want to name my ship after that?

Daedalus was successful. Phaeton failed and Volkswagen named a (mildy successful) car after him.

EDIT: Aw wrong, it was Icarus who failed with Daedalus, Phaeton was a similar failure in mythology.

One of my favorite puzzle/mystery video games of all time, owned it on the 3DO:

Of all the titles proposed for the film, including many joke titles, Damon Lindelof preferred "Star Trek: Transformers 4" best: "It's technically available, we can go there!"
...mumbles bitterly about Michael Bay, Lindelof, and the ending to LOST.

Wow. The North American T-6 has been flying for 75 years, and to celebrate, a large flight of them will fly up the Potomac River next to Washington, D.C..

This might not be the correct day for this, but still :p

Coffee... Suffocating smell...

You russians are more into tea anyway. Which has extremely similar effects. ;)

I think taste is much more important in the decision between tea and coffee, I'll stay neutral by saying I drink neither.:shifty:

The Baker Theorem: Every AI is distinguishable from real humans by the number of times it denies your humanity.

You would think after decades of psychology we would finally be able to simulate a perfect human being. Or maybe there lies the problem.

Sunday's random "what if" video time.
What would happen if you run 700 times more than rated current through a neon bulb?
Not exactly what one would expect.

That's it? :( Aw... I was expecting a pop!
What's the fun in that? :)

The video does not really do it justice - that flickering at the start produced quite a light show of red and blue.
