My ship just arrived in Port Everglades and I am going to be in town until we head home to Buzzards Bay Monday AM. Looking to rent a car to get up to KSC either tomorrow or Sunday. I hear CRS-10 is on the pad!

While on the ship I occupied myself watching a lot of movies. I finally saw Star Wars Episode VII. I didn't realize that the Empire was referring to the British Empire, as it seemed everyone had a British accent. The sun truly does not set on the British Empire, at least not until the Star-Killer Base finishes charging.

Seriously.... how?! Here, we have a simple light metal box hanging in front of a low tunnel at the same height... if you can't fit below the metal bar, don't even think about the tunnel. Is this some kind of American humor?

There are just way too many underpasses in the US for something like that to be put everywhere. Besides, in many of thee cases the underpass is right next to an intersection, so there's nowhere to put that. I've seen it used for train tunnels, I think, though.

Basically, there are signs telling you ahead of time what the height restriction is, and the driver is responsible for knowing the height of his own vehicle, even if it's a rental truck. Get stuck, get a citation, probably get charged for fixing the bridge. And your insurance company will be pleased as well.

Excellent stuff, I'm guessing the two with the straw-bales on the back are self-employed? The second driver must be now. The guy who came back after he thought about it later, a touch of genius(08:50, last clip).

If that happened in the UK, about 1 in 3 would have had other vehicles in the back of them. Lots drive too close here.

Also did the optional Launch Control Center tour, which was especially neat.

For what it's worth, I can confirm that the F9 was indeed on the pad. :lol:

(A 105mm lens can only do so much.)

As soon as I get home and go over my pictures I'll post them, obviously.

I would guess, that is why videos of the same crash from different camera perspectives can be seen on Youtube. I just miss a chase cam.
