Has a pretty nice clean sound.

The Reamped version sounds a bit much like FIR behind, pretty harsh.

I'm pretty new to VST amp sims (or any effect sim via PC) so I don't consider it bad result after few minutes of playing.

It isn't really about your settings - rather the way how it produces the effect. Finite Impulse Response is a very popular digital filter for engineering, but it makes bad results for musicians. Especially the discrite variant. IIR is better suited, but much harder to implement. AFAIR, most cheaper DSPs are also only implementing FIR filters, not IIR (sadly. IIR is better for DSPs)

Fun fact: Because of the rapid immigration in the past months, Cricket is becoming more popular than ever in Germany. Especially because of the younger Afghans, since only Cricket was allowed by the Taliban.

Until now, Cricket was even less popular than Quiddish. And far behind Jugger.

FYI I know some people who are very serious about quidditch

Things learned at field school:

-Outcrops are always easier to go up than down
-It is possible to somehow have to deal with insects and snow at the same time, somehow
-Vodka isnt meant for consumption by human beings. That stuff is like, meant for getting a cow drunk or something
-Less is more with the rock hammer. Unless its the piece you absolutely need, in which case no amount of effort will dislodge the damn thing
-When you get engineers drunk, some really weird stuff comes out
-Always put away the magnetic pencil when making a Brunton measurement :beathead:

You needed field school for learning this?

An Engineer once stumbled through the halls of Building 10
That night he'd drunken rum enough to drown a dozen men
In fact, the only things there were that kept him on his course
Were the boundary conditions and the Coriolis force

Just watched The Last Man on The Moon and was really impressed! One of the best space documentaries I've seen lately. Also got my Apollo 17 coin in the mail!

So, I just took a call from somebody inquiring about an offer we sent him, and the company's name is "Nigg". Looking at my notebook currently, it looks like somebody left a really rude sentence unfinished...

Probably Old English source, odd surnames like that usually refer to the town or village the person came from.

Ham, and Tonne were synonyms for villages and hamlets, dwelling places.

All my opinions of course, mostly inaccurate...

Nigg Name Meaning

South German and Swiss German: from a short form of the personal name Niklaus, a German form of Nicholas.

Smaller printing works that we outsource some orders to, printed me NASA t-shirt

Didn't ask for it TBH - when boss of that company was in my office, he noticed space shuttle wallpaper and added this one to batch we ordered.

Niggi was as common an abreviation for Niklaus in Switzerland as Nick is in english speaking countries, yes. Santa Claus still gets called like that every now and then, depending on where you live.

In the UK, "Old Nick" is a nickname for The Devil. Don't hear it much now, probably dying out.

I'd heard that from older people around here. Along with Scratch or Old Scratch.

Not too many people know that several of those quilt designs found along the Appalachian Quilt Trail are indeed hexes that can mean different things (peaceful long life, young new bride have a bunch of babies, die a long slow painful death, etc). There's more "good" hexes than bad.

I wish my great-grandmother could have explained more to me when I was a little kid. My own grandmother knew some of it, but she was a "city" girl from Knoxville.

Interesting, thought it was only UK, so it may older than I thought. Haven't heard of Scratch or Old Scratch.
Hobbes was another old name for TD. I thnk Hobbes End was a location in the Quatermass and The Pit story, but I might be confusing it with another.
